To log in for the first time, using your temporary PIN (Personal Identification Number).
Go to: unemployment.ohio.gov
Click: “I am an Unemployed Worker”.
Click “Log In to My Unemployment Insurance Account”.
Read the Release of Information. Then click the I Agree button to continue.
Under the claimant login section, enter your Social Security number in the SSN text box. Do not enter spaces or dashes. Enter the temporary PIN you received by email or U.S mail from ODJFS.

If chat is busy, you may use the Help or FAQs buttons in the black bar near the top of the page to find the information you need.
Or you may call the number listed on your correspondence for assistance. After filling in your Social Security Number and temporary pin, click login.
When using your Temporary Pin for the first time, a message will appear telling you that your Pin has expired and you will be asked to create a new one. The new Pin must be eigth numeric digits. Enter your Pin a second time to confirm.
Write down your Pin number and do not share it with anyone. Next, select a Pin hint question and enter your answer.
In case you lose or forget your Pin, this answer will help you recover it. Click Submit.
