How to update your e-mail, password, security questions, and personal image in Benefit Programs Online. From UI Online or SDI Online, select the Benefit Programs Online link at the top of the screen to go back to your Benefit Programs Online account and select the My Profile tab.
Update Your Information in Benefit Programs Online

Update Email
To update your email address, select the Update Email link.
Enter your new email, and then select Next. Review your email address, enter your password, and then select Next.
The EDD will send an email to the new email address you provided. This address will be communicated to any existing Unemployment Insurance, Disability, or Paid Family Leave claims. Select the link included in the message to complete the update to your email.
Update Password
To update your password, select the Update Password link.
Enter your current password, new password, and then select Update.
Update Security Questions
To update your Security Questions and answers, select the Update Security Questions link.
Now select four security questions and enter your answers to the questions. Make sure you save these questions and answers just in case you need to reference them at a later time. When you’re ready, select Next to make your changes permanent.
Update Personal Image and Caption
To update your Personal Image or Caption, select the Update Personal Image and Caption link. Select a Personal Image and enter a Personal Caption. Remember, you should always see the image and the caption you select every time you log into your Benefit Programs Online account.
This lets you know that you are on a valid EDD website. Select Next to continue. Review your Personal Image and Caption. Enter your password, and select Update.
